Hathaway has what it takes to be Catwoman, says Chris Nolan

It was verified recently that Hathaway will play “Catwoman” in the upcoming “Batman” movie directed by Nolan, in accordance with Entertainment Weekly. The movie, titled “The Dark Knight Rises,” will be the last that Nolan will direct. Even though the Disney roles Hathaway portrayed in got her famous, such as "The Princess Diaries," she recently has been doing more serious films. Selina Kyle is the character Hathaway will be playing who’s the Catwoman character. In the comics, she was the love interest of Bruce Wayne/Batman most of the time. The last time "Catwoman" was in a movie, the movie did not do well and many were disappointed. However, Halle Berry played the role.

The movie has Tom Hardy as a bad guy

English actor Hardy was cast as “Bane,” the masked strongman who breaks Batman’s back within the comic canon. The role in Nolan's movie "Inception" is probably what Tom Hardy is best known for. Matthey Vaughan's "Layer Cake," Guy Ritchie's "Rock and Rolla" and the story about British pioneer "Bronson" are other movies. He is known for all of them. Also, the role of Mad Max in the next Mad Max series film is what Hardy is rumored to be doing.

Announcement from Nolan this will be his last Batman

In 2012, the Batman film will be released. Nolan plans on not making any more Batman films in the future. Christian Bale plans on stopping in the Batman franchise also. He will be returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman for this movie though. The final 2 films he did were of probably the most successful. This is within the final ten years of films, of course.
