BYU’s Jimmer Fredette has the kind of jump shot that brings a rain of basketball hysteria. After leading ninth-ranked BYU to a 71-58 win over fourth-ranked San Diego State University on Jan. 26 with a whopping 43 points, Fredette nevertheless had the stamina to shut down Twitter temporarily, reports the NY Daily News. Twitter couldn’t manage the Fredette mania, so the servers shut down for a while.

Jimmer Fredette is concerned about not getting nearly as much exposure as Duke or North Caroline players get even though the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah, has BYU in there filling it often. Adam Morrison is an example of this. He is on the Gonzaga team. There are many more "Great White Hope" players that do not do well within the National Basketball Association than there are of those who succeed. Fredette needs to get just a little faster and stronger in order to succeed within the National Basketball Association. With his jump shot, he will go far. It’s quite amazing.
