Besides coming back to the Vikings, there is an additional big story involving Brett Favre. There is also the ongoing saga of whether he sent Jenn Sterger pics. The legendary quarterback may have sent incredibly revealing pictures to her. The story has remained somewhat dormant. Recently, Favre was asked about the rumors in a press conference about the upcoming game between the Minnesota Vikings and also the New York Jets. The pictures in question were allegedly sent when Favre had been a member of the Jets.
Jenn Sterger pics from Favre addressed
Whether or not Brett Favre sent Jenn Sterger pictures was addressed. The question, reports the Huffington Post, was asked at a press conference. Favre brushed it aside quickly, saying that his focus was on preparing for the upcoming game against his previous team and that was all he had to talk about. The Jets liked having Favre on the team previously. They got off to a good start as a result of it. The season went downhill half way via after he really hurt his throwing arm. Favre had been the quarterback for the team while Sterger had been a sports reporter the Jets employed to do stories to them.
Deadspin hurts rumors of Favre more
The rumors over the sordid affair are furthered by recently published photos on site Deadspin. The brand new York Daily News reports that the text messages sent to Sterger from Favre contained these photos which were published on the website. Many bring up the point of Deanna Favre, Brett’s wife of a while ago. She looks a lot like Jenn Sterger. Sterger has maintained that she had been entirely uninterested in the 20-year NFL veteran, maintaining he is too old and married. Deadspin doesn’t seem to be in for a lawsuit. Favre doesn’t seem like the type to sue anyway.
This happened once or twice before
This is not the first story of athletes sending nude photos of themselves to someone. The scandal does have potential of being really heartbreaking. He is one of probably the most prolific and beloved quarterbacks of all time after all. Neither Favre nor Sterger seems interested in pursuing the matter. Soon can be “Mean Gang Green” Sunday. The Vikings need to prepare.
