Extortion trial for Allison Cross in Michigan

Accused of trying to extort John Stamos, Allison Cross and Scott Sippola are on trial. After being asked to pay over a half-million dollars to prevent photos from being released, John Stamos contacted his lawyers. The photos that Allison Cross and Scott Sippola allegedly tried to sell are of Stamos at a 2004 party in Florida.

The Michigan trial of Allison Cross and Scott Sippola is for the alleged crime of extortion. After meeting in Florida, Cross and Stamos started corresponding via email – after which, “Brian L” contacted Stamos, threatening to sell photos to the tabloids. The individuals who contacted Stamos asked for $ 680,000 to prevent the photos from being released. In email correspondence, Cross told Stamos she knew about the plot.

At the point that John Stamos was asked to pay to prevent the supposedly compromising photos of him with Allison Cross from being released, he contacted his lawyers and also the FBI. Stamos and his lawyers admit that photos of his 2004 trip in Orlando exist. As soon as the trial is over, John Stamos intends on releasing the photographs.
