Carnival luxury cruise ship fire pillages business revenue

The Carnival Cruise Lines took a heavy blow to its image when the Carnival Splendor cruise liner fire broke out. After getting towed to port in San Diego, the Splendor will need nearly two months of maintenance. The business is expecting 20 % of fourth quarter income can be dropped.

1/5 of stock costs for Carnival Cruise lost

Money has been dropped by the Carnival Cruise lines. The Carnival cruise liner fire caused this. A loss of 7 cents per share is expected to occur. Following the first on the Carnival Splendor, a loss is natural. At the very least, a 20 % drop in stock income in the fourth quarter is expected by Carnival. This is all because of the incident, reports ABC. The loss expected is way too large. It is regarding $56 million total. Due to repair costs in order to fix the Carnival Splendor right after the first and the loss of business, this loss was expected.

Getting Splendor all fixed up

After getting towed from the Gulf of Mexico, Carnival's Splendor cruise ship got to San Diego days ago. The Carnival Splendor caused the vessel to go dead in the water, and the Carnival cruise turned out to be a Carnival tow to San Diego, with luxury cruise ship passengers stuck in deplorable conditions. The vessel has to be investigated by inspectors. Repairs can start right after that. The vessel will not be working for a while. Until at least January, it could be worked on. Throughout the whole world, the largest operator for cruises is Carnival. Princess Cruise, Holland The United States cruises and Cunard are all owned by Carnival.

Refunds and discounts to everyone displaced

Any person on the Splendor can be compensated. It is the least the business can do. A refund on the cruise and airfare is being given by Carnival. It’s also giving a 25 % discount on all future cruises.
