Not long after Conan O’Brien left NBC in January after “The Tonight Show” had been nearly bumped to accommodate Jay Leno, speculation grew rampant over what his next move was. When O'Brien decided this change wasn't worth it to stay on the air; he had to wait six months before reappearing regularly on TV.
