O'Brien debuts brand new show on TBS

The removing from "The Tonight Show" of Conan O’Brien was the subject of lots of dispute. O’Brien followers, labeling themselves "Team Coco," made a really public campaign of support for O’Brien. It didn’t take long to discover a brand new job for him. Shortly after he left NBC, a brand new show for O’Brien had been announced for TBS. Not long after Conan O’Brien left NBC in January after “The Tonight Show” had been nearly bumped to accommodate Jay Leno, speculation grew rampant over what his next move was. Since April people have anticipated his new show on TBS when it was announced he would be going to TBS and pushing back the George Lopez show. The new show had been to be called simply “Conan.” Since then, promotional spots have been constantly running, and fans have been patiently waiting for the first episode. Nov 8 at 11 pm. This show is slotted to play its really first episode. People who are declaring that “I’m With Coco” should check their local listings should there be any confusion over channel and airtime.

There is still more drama with O'Brien and Leno

Conan O'Brien was passed "The Tonight Show" from Leno back in June of '09. The “Jay Leno Show” debuted to mixed ratings, and it started to plummet. Though the exact nature of the decision will never be known, it appeared that Conan O’Brien had been being bumped from the traditional time slot of the “Tonight Show” at 11:35 p.m. to 12:35, for the sake of getting Jay Leno into better ratings. When O'Brien decided this change wasn't worth it to stay on the air; he had to wait six months before reappearing regularly on TV.

It's about time

The show "Conan" is expected to be a hit. Conan O’Brien maintains a rabid following, and “Team Coco” has been waiting since January.
